The next work day for the TSCA is 1/14/12 and will be every other weekend starting at 9am to noon. Wrapping up on the nutshell pram and dory is getting a new lease on ife and Commodore traded a human hamster wheel for half finished stgrip kayak and a lot of resin and wood! Quite the fleet we are building up!
We have begun to work on a vessel donated by Clay Thornhill. This little Nutshell Pram needs a though going over. Additionally, Mark Bayne is donating a 14′ Dory that could also use some helping hands. We are meeting Saturday(12/17) from 9am-12. As well 12/31 from 9am-12 Bring what tools you think will build the best boat and meet us at the old SEA ISLAND BOATYARD on Shem Creek. Additionally, several members have expressed interest in obtaining the Helen-Anette. She is a small Schooner. She has been in a time capsule on the hill, and the owner wants to find a good home for her. I will leave it up to the members to decide if we want to pursue this further. Completed boats will be for member use if you are a member or are interested in becoming a member of the Palmetto Chapter of the TSCA.
